This study aims to determine the Importance Value Index (INP), Vegetation Diversity Index, and abiotic factors in herbal strata Bukit Gatan, Musi Rawas Regency. Determination of Herbs Strata Gatan Regency using point intercept method, which uses touch rods that are below line. research was made into 3 areas, namely area A (1-10 stands), B stands) C then data were analyzed descriptively quantitative. highest importance index (INP) has been conducted A, caladium (Caladium sp) 50.33%, is arrowroot (Maranta arundiciae) plant at 69%, bandotan (bandotan plant) Ageratum conyzoidez) by 39%. The average diversity Study Area 0.55, 0.26 0.33. Abiotic Region, Regency, greatly affect life herbaceous Forest Area, air temperature gatan hill protection forest ranges (28.30C) with soil moisture (15) while humidity (92.6%) (27.10C) pH (6.6).
